अभिधावंस्ततो वाक्यमन्तरिक्षात् स शुश्रुवे । किमासीदसि पानीयं नैतच्छक्यं बलात् त्वया
abhidhāvaṁs tato vākyam antarīkṣāt sa śuśruve | kim āsīd asi pānīyaṁ naitac chakyaṁ balāt tvayā | bhārata yadi me praśnān uttareṇa samarthase | tataḥ piba jalaṁ hy etat nayasva ca yathāsukham ||
ពេលគាត់ប្រញាប់ទៅមុខ គាត់បានឮសំឡេងមួយពីលើមេឃ៖ «ឱ កូនកុន្ទី! ហេតុអ្វីបានជាអ្នករត់ទៅជិតទឹក? អ្នកមិនអាចផឹកទឹកនេះដោយកម្លាំងបានទេ។ ឱ ភារត! ប្រសិនបើអ្នកអាចឆ្លើយសំណួររបស់ខ្ញុំបាន នោះចូរផឹកទឹកនេះ—ហើយយកទៅក៏បាន តាមចិត្តអ្នក»។
