यदि दास्यामि ते मार्ग सैन्यस्य व्रजतो55ज्ञया । अन्ये>प्याज्ञापयिष्यन्ति मामेवं धनुषो बलात्‌

yadi dāsyāmi te mārgaṃ sainyasya vrajato 'jñayā | anye 'py ājñāpayiṣyanti mām evaṃ dhanuṣo balāt ||

មារកណ្ឌេយៈបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ «បើតាមព្រះបញ្ជារបស់អ្នក ខ្ញុំបង្ហាញផ្លូវឲ្យកងទ័ពរបស់អ្នកដើរទៅ នោះអ្នកដទៃក៏នឹងចាប់ផ្តើមបញ្ជាខ្ញុំដូចគ្នា ដោយអំណាចធ្នូតែប៉ុណ្ណោះ។ ការយល់ព្រមម្តងចំពោះការបង្ខំ គឺបើកទ្វារឲ្យពិភពលោកដែលកម្លាំងជំនួសយុត្តិធម៌»។
