Daśagrīva-boonāvaraṇa, Viṣṇv-avatāra-niyoga, Vānara-sahāya-janana, Mantharā-nirmāṇa

न सुष्वाप सुखं राजा हृदि शल्यैरिवार्पिति: । दौरात्म्यमनुपश्यंस्तत्‌ काले द्यूतोद्‌्भवस्य हि

vaiśampāyana uvāca | na suṣvāpa sukhaṃ rājā hṛdi śalyair ivārpitaḥ | daurātmyam anupaśyaṃs tat kāle dyūtotthavasya hi |

វៃសម្បាយនៈបាននិយាយថា៖ ព្រះបាទមិនអាចដេកដោយសុខសាន្តបានឡើយ ដូចជាបេះដូងត្រូវបានចាក់ដោយមុតស្រួច។ ព្រោះនៅពេលនោះ ព្រះអង្គពិចារណាអំពីអំពើអាក្រក់ដែលកើតចេញពីការលេងស៊ីសង—ចេតនាឃោរឃៅ និងពុករលួយរបស់វា—ចិត្តព្រះអង្គត្រូវបានរំខាន មិនស្ងប់ស្ងាត់។
