दुःखेन चाधिगम्यन्ते तस्मान्नाशं न चिन्तयेत् । असंतोषपरा मूढा: संतोष॑ यान्ति पण्डिता:
Translation
ទ្រព្យសម្បត្តិក៏ត្រូវបានទទួលមកដោយទុក្ខដែរ; ដូច្នេះ មិនគួរគិតពិចារណាអំពីវាឡើយ។ ព្រោះការព្រួយបារម្ភអំពីទ្រព្យ គឺជាការគិតទៅរកការបំផ្លាញខ្លួនឯង។ មនុស្សល្ងង់ស្ថិតក្នុងភាពមិនពេញចិត្តជានិច្ច; តែអ្នកប្រាជ្ញឈានទៅរកសន្តោស។
