इस प्रकार श्रीम्याभारत वनपर्वके अन्तर्गत मार्कण्डेयसमास्यापर्वनें मत्स्योपाख्यानविषयक एक सौ सतासीवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
iti prakāraḥ śrīmahābhārata-vanaparvaṇi antargata-mārkaṇḍeya-samāsyāparvaṇā matsyopākhyāna-viṣayaka ekaśata-saptāśītitamo 'dhyāyaḥ samāptaḥ
ដូច្នេះ បានបញ្ចប់ជំពូកទីមួយរយប៉ែតសិបប្រាំពីរ នៃ «មត្ស្យូបាខ្យាន» (វគ្គព្រះរាជាមត្ស្យ) ដែលស្ថិតក្នុង «ម៉ារកណ្ឌេយសមាស្យាបរវន» នៃ «វនបរវ» ក្នុងមហាភារតដ៏បរិសុទ្ធ។ កថាបញ្ចប់នេះបង្ហាញថា វគ្គនិទាន-អប់រំនេះបានបញ្ចប់នៅក្នុងបរិបទនៃសៀវភៅព្រៃធំ។
