अन्तेषु रेमिरे धीरा न ते मध्येषु रेमिरे । अन्तप्राप्तिं सुखं प्राहुर्द:खमन्तरमेतयो:
anteṣu remire dhīrā na te madhyeṣu remire | antaprāptiṁ sukhaṁ prāhur duḥkham antaram etayoḥ ||
វៃសម្បាយនៈបាននិយាយថា៖ មនុស្សមានចិត្តមាំមួនរីករាយនៅក្នុង «ស្ថានភាពចុងក្រោយ» មិនរីករាយនៅក្នុង «ស្ថានភាពកណ្ដាល» ទេ។ ពួកគេថា ការឈានដល់ចុងក្រោយគឺជាសុខ; តែចន្លោះរវាងទាំងពីរនោះជាទុក្ខ។
