यत् तत् कर्णो मन्यते पारणीयं युद्धे गृहीतायुधमर्जुनं वै । आसंभश्न युद्धानि पुरा महान्ति कथं कर्णो नाभवद् द्वीप एषाम्
yat tat karṇo manyate pāraṇīyaṃ yuddhe gṛhītāyudham arjunaṃ vai | āsaṃbhaśn yuddhāni purā mahānti kathaṃ karṇo nābhavad dvīpa eṣām |
សញ្ជ័យបាននិយាយថា៖ «បើករណៈគិតថា អាចឈ្នះអរជុនក្នុងសមរភូមិ នៅពេលអរជុនកាន់អាវុធរួចរាល់ហើយ នោះហេតុអ្វីបានជា កាលពីមុន នៅពេលសង្គ្រាមធំៗកំពុងរាលដាល និងលោកធាតុកំពុងរញ្ជួយ ករណៈមិនបានក្លាយជា “កោះ” — ជាជម្រកសង្គ្រោះ — នៅកណ្ដាលវិបត្តិទាំងនោះ?»
