Śikhaṇḍinī’s Marriage Arrangement and the Daśārṇa Envoy’s Accusation (शिखण्डिनी-विवाह-विप्रलम्भ-प्रसङ्गः)
दैवं हि मानुषोपेतं भृशं सिद्धयति पार्थिव | परस्परविरोधाद्धि सिद्धिरस्ति न चैतयो:
daivaṁ hi mānuṣopetaṁ bhṛśaṁ siddhayati pārthiva | parasparavirodhād dhi siddhir asti na caitayoḥ ||
ភីෂ្មៈបានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ឱ ព្រះមហាក្សត្រ! វាសនាឬទេវកំណត់ នឹងក្លាយជាអំណាចមានប្រសិទ្ធិភាពយ៉ាងខ្លាំង កាលណាមានការខិតខំប្រឹងប្រែងរបស់មនុស្សរួមជាមួយ។ ប៉ុន្តែបើវាសនា និងការខិតខំផ្ទាល់ខ្លួនប្រឆាំងគ្នា នោះទាំងពីរមិនអាចសម្រេចជោគជ័យបានឡើយ»។
