अम्बा-शाल्वसंवादः | Amba’s Appeal to Śālva and His Refusal
तानहं शरवर्षेण समन्तात् पर्यवारयम् । सर्वान् नृपांश्वाप्पजयं देवराडिव दानवान्
tān ahaṃ śaravarṣeṇa samantāt paryavārayam | sarvān nṛpān śvāpajayaṃ devarāḍ iva dānavān ||
ភីṣ្មៈបាននិយាយថា៖ «ខ្ញុំបានបាញ់ព្រួញដូចភ្លៀង ព័ទ្ធគ្រប់ទិស ដើម្បីទប់ស្កាត់ការរុលមករបស់ពួកគេ។ ហើយដូចព្រះឥន្ទ្រា ម្ចាស់ទេវតា ឈ្នះពួកដានវៈដូចម្តេច ខ្ញុំក៏បានបង្ក្រាបព្រះមហាក្សត្រទាំងអស់នោះដូច្នោះដែរ»។
