Bhīṣma’s Appraisal of Kaurava Champions (भीष्मकृतः रथिनां गुणनिरूपणम्)
भीष्म उवाच गान्धारे शृणु राजेन्द्र रथसंख्यां स्वके बले । ये रथा: पृथिवीपाल तथैवातिरथाश्न ये
bhīṣma uvāca gāndhāre śṛṇu rājendra rathasaṅkhyāṃ svake bale | ye rathāḥ pṛthivīpāla tathaivātirathāś ca ye ||
ភីष្មបានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ឱ កូនប្រុសនៃគន្ធារី ឱ ព្រះអម្ចាស់នៃស្តេចទាំងឡាយ ចូរស្តាប់ចំនួនអ្នកយុទ្ធលើរថក្នុងកងទ័ពរបស់អ្នក។ ឱ អ្នកអភិបាលផែនដី ខ្ញុំនឹងពណ៌នាអំពីអ្នកយុទ្ធលើរថ និងអ្នកយុទ្ធលើរថដ៏អស្ចារ្យ (អតិរថ) ដែលមានក្នុងកម្លាំងរបស់អ្នក»។
