भीष्मस्य सेनापत्यप्रतिज्ञा तथा रथसंख्यावर्णनम् | Bhishma Accepts Command and Enumerates Kaurava Strength
तमब्रवीद् धर्मराज: कारुण्यार्थ वचो महत् | नाहं ज्ञातिवधं राजन् कामयेयं कथंचन
tam abravīd dharmarājaḥ kāruṇyārthaṃ vaco mahat | nāhaṃ jñātivadhaṃ rājan kāmaye'yaṃ kathaṃcana ||
សញ្ជ័យបាននិយាយ៖ បន្ទាប់មក ធម្មរាជ (យុធិષ્ઠិរ) ដែលត្រូវចិត្តមេត្តាករុណាប៉ះពាល់ បានពោលពាក្យធ្ងន់ធ្ងរ៖ «ឱ ព្រះមហាក្សត្រ! ខ្ញុំមិនប្រាថ្នាឲ្យមានការសម្លាប់ញាតិរបស់ខ្ញុំឡើយ មិនថាក្នុងរបៀបណាក៏ដោយ»។
