भीष्म उवाच प्रजानां क्रोशतीनां वै नैवाक्षुभ्यत मे मन: । प्रतिज्ञां रक्षमाणस्य सद्‌ वृत्तं स्मरतस्तथा

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca prajānāṁ krośatīnāṁ vai naivākṣubhyata me manaḥ | pratijñāṁ rakṣamāṇasya sadvṛttaṁ smaratastathā ||

Translation

ភីෂ្មបាននិយាយថា៖ «ទោះបីខ្ញុំបានឮប្រជាជនស្រែកយំដោយទុក្ខវេទនាក៏ដោយ ចិត្តខ្ញុំមិនបានរំញ័រឡើយ; ព្រោះខ្ញុំបានផ្តោតលើការរក្សាសច្ចាប្រណិធានរបស់ខ្ញុំ ហើយបានចងចាំសេចក្តីប្រព្រឹត្តត្រឹមត្រូវយ៉ាងមាំមួន»។
