गालवस्य विषादः तथा विष्णुप्रयाणम्
Gālava’s Despair and Resolve to Seek Viṣṇu
विश्वामित्रो5थ सम्भ्रान्त: श्रपयामास वै चरुम् परमान्नस्य यत्नेन न च तं प्रत्यपालयत्
Viśvāmitro ’tha sambhrāntaḥ śrapayāmāsa vai caruṃ paramānnasya yatnena na ca taṃ pratyapālayat.
នារទៈបាននិយាយថា៖ បន្ទាប់មក វិශ්וואַមិត្រ ដោយភាពប្រញាប់ប្រញាល់យ៉ាងខ្លាំង បានចាប់ផ្តើមចម្អិន «ចរុ»—អាហារបូជាដ៏ប្រសើរពីអាហារល្អិតល្អន់—ដោយកិច្ចខិតខំយ៉ាងប្រុងប្រយ័ត្ន; ប៉ុន្តែគាត់មិនបានរង់ចាំ ឬបម្រើភ្ញៀវនោះឲ្យទាន់ពេលទេ ព្រោះភ្ញៀវមិនអាចនៅរង់ចាំបាន។ ហេតុការណ៍នេះបង្ហាញថា ទោះមានចេតនាសុចរិត និងការត្រៀមដ៏សម្បូរ ក៏នៅតែខ្វះខាត ប្រសិនបើមិនគោរពកាតព្វកិច្ចស្វាគមន៍ភ្ញៀវឲ្យទាន់ពេល។

Nārada narrates that Viśvāmitra hurriedly began cooking a fine caru as a superior meal, but the guest did not (or could not) wait; thus Viśvāmitra failed to properly keep the guest in attendance and receive him at the right time.
