Svargārohaṇa-parva Adhyāya 5 — Karmaphala-Nirdeśa and Phalāśruti (कर्मफलनिर्देशः फलश्रुतिश्च)
इमां भारतसावित्रीं प्रातरुत्थाय यः पठेत् । स भारतफल प्राप्य परं ब्रह्माधिगच्छति
imāṃ bhāratasāvitrīṃ prātar utthāya yaḥ paṭhet | sa bhārata-phalaṃ prāpya paraṃ brahmādhigacchati ||
វៃសម្បាយនៈបាននិយាយថា៖ «អ្នកណាដែលភ្ញាក់ពីព្រឹក ហើយអានសូត្រនូវ ‘ភារត-សាវិត្រី’ នេះ—សេចក្តីបង្រៀនសារសំខាន់ដែលបានស្រង់ចេញពីមហាភារតៈ—នោះនឹងទទួលបានផលបុណ្យដូចបានសិក្សាមហាកាវ្យទាំងមូល ហើយដោយផលនោះ នឹងឈានដល់ព្រះព្រហ្មអធិឧត្តម (បរព្រហ្ម)»។

The verse teaches that disciplined daily recitation of the Mahābhārata’s distilled ‘Bhārata-Sāvitrī’ grants the same spiritual merit as studying the whole epic and culminates in realization/attainment of the Supreme Brahman—linking ethical instruction (dharma) with the highest liberation (mokṣa).
