अथ मानयितुर्दाम्न: श्लक्षणस्य वशवर्तिन: । व्यसन स्वमिवोत्पन्नं विजिघांसन्ति मानवा:
atha mānayitur dāmnaḥ ślakṣṇasya vaśavartinaḥ | vyasanaṃ svam ivotpannaṃ vijighāṃsanti mānavāḥ ||
ឥឡូវនេះ បើមនុស្សណាម្នាក់គោរពគ្រប់គ្នា ជាអ្នកឲ្យទាន មានអាកប្បកិរិយាទន់ភ្លន់ និងរស់នៅដោយការយកចិត្តទុកដាក់ចំពោះអ្នកដទៃ បើមានគ្រោះមហន្តរាយមកលើគាត់ មនុស្សទាំងឡាយនឹងចាត់ទុកដូចជាគ្រោះរបស់ខ្លួន ហើយខិតខំជួយបំបាត់វា។
