राजधर्मः—प्रमादवर्जनं, दण्डनीतिः, दुर्बलरक्षणम्
Royal Dharma: Vigilance, Just Punishment, Protection of the Vulnerable
यच्चापि सुकृतं कर्म वाचं चैव सुभाषिताम् | समीक्ष्य पूजयन् राजा धर्म प्राप्नोत्यनुत्तमम्
yaccāpi sukṛtaṃ karma vācaṃ caiva subhāṣitām | samīkṣya pūjayan rājā dharmaṃ prāpnoty anuttamam ||
ព្រះមហាក្សត្រដែលពិនិត្យមើលដោយប្រុងប្រយ័ត្ននូវកិច្ចការល្អ (បុណ្យកម្ម) របស់មន្ត្រី ឬប្រជារាស្ត្រ និងស្តាប់ពាក្យសមរម្យរបស់ពួកគេ ហើយបន្ទាប់មកលើកតម្កើងគោរពតាមសមគួរ នោះព្រះអង្គបានឈានដល់ធម៌ដ៏ខ្ពង់ខ្ពស់បំផុត។ គោលបំណងបង្រៀនថា ការគ្រប់គ្រងដោយសេចក្តីធម៌ គឺត្រូវចេះសង្កេតឃើញគុណធម៌ក្នុងអ្នកដទៃ និងប្រកាសទទួលស្គាល់វាដោយការផ្តល់កិត្តិយសឲ្យសមរម្យ។
