hitaṃ tad-vacanaṃ śrutvā kausalyo 'py ajayan mahīm | tathā ca kṛtavān rājā yathoktaṃ tena bhārata ||
ភីṣ្មៈបានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ព្រះមហាក្សត្រកោសលាបានស្តាប់ពាក្យណែនាំដ៏មានប្រយោជន៍នោះ ហើយក៏បានឈ្នះផែនដី។ ព្រះអង្គបានប្រតិបត្តិតាមដែលបានបង្គាប់យ៉ាងត្រឹមត្រូវ ឱ ភារតៈ—បង្ហាញថា ការស្តាប់ដំបូន្មានដោយសុចរិត និងអនុវត្តដោយស្មោះត្រង់ នាំទៅកាន់ជោគជ័យ និងស្ថិរភាពនៃរាជ្យ»។
