राजधर्मः—प्रजापालनं दानयज्ञश्च
Royal Duty—Protection of Subjects, Generosity, and Sacrificial Discipline
न होतामाशिषं पाण्डुर्न च कुन्ती त्वयाचत । तथैतत् प्रज्ञया तात यथा55चरसि मेधया
na hotām āśiṣaṁ pāṇḍur na ca kuntī tvayācat | tathaitat prajñayā tāta yathā carasi medhayā ||
ភីṣ្មៈ បានមានព្រះវាចា៖ «បណ្ឌុ មិនដែលសុំពរពីអ្នកឡើយ ហើយកុន្ទីក៏មិនបានអង្វរពរពីអ្នកដែរ។ ទោះជាយ៉ាងនេះក្តី កូនអើយ អ្នកប្រព្រឹត្តក្នុងរឿងនេះដោយប្រាជ្ញា និងវិចារណញ្ញាណយ៉ាងល្អិតល្អន់ ដល់ថ្នាក់សមស្របនឹងប្រយោជន៍ខ្ពស់បំផុត»។
