नरेश्वर! उसके निकट पहुँचकर बुद्धिमान् नागेन्द्र, जो स्वभावसे ही धर्मानुरागी थे, मधुर वाणीमें बोले-- ।। ॥/ 0
nareśvara! tasya nikaṭam upasaṅgamya buddhimān nāgendraḥ, yaḥ svabhāvata eva dharmānurāgī āsīt, madhuravāṇyā uvāca—
ភីෂ្មបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ «ឱ ព្រះមហាក្សត្រ! ពេលបានចូលទៅជិតគាត់ហើយ នាគេន្រ្តដ៏ប្រាជ្ញា—ដែលដោយធម្មជាតិជាអ្នកស្រឡាញ់ធម៌—បាននិយាយដោយសំឡេងទន់ភ្លន់ និងផ្អែមល្ហែម»។
