यदा त्वमपि विदप्रर्षे त्रैलोक्यं सचराचरम् । जातकौतूहलो नित्यं सिद्धश्चरसि साक्षिवत्
yadā tvam api vidaprarṣe trailokyaṃ sacarācaram | jātakautūhalo nityaṃ siddhaś carasi sākṣivat ||
ភីṣ្មៈបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ «ឱ ព្រហ្មរិសិ! អ្នកផងដែរ—ជាសិទ្ធបុរស—ធ្វើដំណើរឆ្លងកាត់ត្រីលោក ដែលពោរពេញដោយសត្វចល និងអចលទាំងអស់។ ដោយចិត្តចង់ដឹងជានិច្ច អ្នកវង្វេងដើរមិនឈប់ ដូចសាក្សីមួយ រក្សាភាពមិនជាប់ពាក់»។
