धर्मस्य बहुद्वारत्वम् — Nārada’s Audience with Indra (Śānti-parva 340)

अहंकारकृतं चैव नाम पर्यायवाचकम्‌ । त्वया कृतां च मर्यादां नातिक्रंस्पति कश्नन

Transliteration

ahaṅkārakṛtaṃ caiva nāma paryāyavācakam | tvayā kṛtāṃ ca maryādāṃ nātikraṃsyati kaścana ||

Translation

ភីष្មៈ បានមានពាក្យថា៖ «ហើយនាមដែលមានន័យដូចគ្នារបស់អ្នក នឹងជា ‘អហង្គារក្រឹត’—អ្នកបង្កើតអហង្គារ (អត្តមោទនៈ)។ លើសពីនេះ គ្មាននរណាម្នាក់នឹងរំលោភលើព្រំដែន (មર્યាទា) ដែលអ្នកបានកំណត់ឡើយ»។
