Śuka’s Guṇa-Transcendence and Vyāsa’s Consolation (शुकगति-वर्णनम्)
येन येन हि यस्यार्थ: कारणेनेह कर्मणि । तत्तदालम्बते सर्व: स्वे स्वे स्वार्थपरिग्रहे
yena yena hi yasyārthaḥ kāraṇeneha karmaṇi | tattad ālambate sarvaḥ sve sve svārthaparigrahe ||
ព្រះបាទជនកៈ «ក្នុងលោកនៃកម្ម មធ្យោបាយណាដែលមនុស្សម្នាក់ឃើញថាចាំបាច់ ដើម្បីសម្រេចគោលបំណងដែលខ្លួនប្រាថ្នា ដោយមធ្យោបាយនោះហើយ គេយកជាទីពឹង។ ព្រោះមនុស្សទាំងអស់ ដែលខិតខំរកសម្រេចអត្ថប្រយោជន៍ដែលខ្លួនជ្រើសរើស តែងអាស្រ័យលើឧបករណ៍ដែលបម្រើគោលបំណងរបស់ខ្លួន»។
