Śuka’s Guṇa-Transcendence and Vyāsa’s Consolation (शुकगति-वर्णनम्)
स्वप्नकामो न लभते स्वप्तुं कार्यार्थिभिर्जन: । शयने चाप्यनुज्ञात: सुप्त उत्थाप्यतेडवश:
svapna-kāmo na labhate svaptuṁ kāryārthibhir janaḥ | śayane cāpy anu-jñātaḥ supta utthāpyate ’vaśaḥ ||
ភីស្មៈ «មនុស្សដែលប្រាថ្នាចង់ដេក មិនអាចបានដេកទេ ព្រោះត្រូវមនុស្សដែលមកសុំឲ្យដោះស្រាយការងារឡោមព័ទ្ធ។ ទោះបានអនុញ្ញាតឲ្យដេកលើគ្រែហើយ ក៏នៅតែត្រូវគេដាស់ឡើងវិញដោយសំណូមពររបស់អ្នកដទៃ ដោយគ្មានអំណាចបដិសេធ។»
