नारद उवाच
Excellence arises from sustained effort and disciplined practice. Even after gaining knowledge of weapons, Karṇa continues rigorous training in dhanurveda, highlighting that mastery is maintained and deepened through ongoing self-exertion and adherence to a teacher’s regimen.
Nārada describes Karṇa after acquiring knowledge of astras: he stays happily in the Bhārgava (Bhṛgu/Paraśurāma) hermitage and undertakes intense practice of archery to perfect his martial skill.
