अध्याय २९७ — श्रेयः, धृति, दान-नियमाः
Welfare, Steadfastness, and Norms of Giving
विविधानां च भूतानां जड़मा: परमा नृप । जड़मानामपि तथा द्विपदा: परमा मता:
vividhānāṁ ca bhūtānāṁ jaṅgamāḥ paramā nṛpa | jaṅgamānām api tathā dvipadāḥ paramā matāḥ ||
ឱ មហារាជ! ក្នុងចំណោមសត្វមានជីវិតជាច្រើនប្រភេទ សត្វដែលអាចចល័តដើរទៅមក ត្រូវបានចាត់ទុកថាល្អប្រសើរ។ ហើយក្នុងចំណោមសត្វចល័តទាំងនោះ សត្វពីរជើង—មនុស្ស—ត្រូវបានគេថាជាខ្ពស់បំផុត។
