अधर्मान्त्हिता वेदा वेदधर्मास्तथा55 श्रमा: । विक्रियन्ते स्वधर्मस्था: स्थावराणि चराणि च
adharmāntarhitā vedā vedadharmās tathāśramāḥ | vikriyante svadharmasthāḥ sthāvarāṇi carāṇi ca ||
ព្រះវ្យាសៈមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «នៅពេលអធម្មគ្របដណ្ដប់ វេទទាំងឡាយហាក់ដូចជាលាក់បាំង ហើយកាតព្វកិច្ចតាមវេទ រួមទាំងអាស្រម (លំដាប់ជីវិត) ដែលបានបង្កើតរួច ក៏ត្រូវបាំងបិទ។ បន្ទាប់មក សត្វមានជីវិតទាំងអស់ ទាំងស្ថាវរ និងចរ ដែលធម្មតារស់នៅតាមសភាព និងធម៌របស់ខ្លួន ក៏បែរជាវៀចវេរ ចេញពីធម៌; ភាពរំខានទាំងសីលធម៌ និងធម្មជាតិ កើតឡើងពាសពេញ»។
