ब्राह्मणस्य पूर्वतरा वृत्तिः — The Earlier Ideal Conduct of a Brahmana
River-of-Saṃsāra Metaphor
इदं तु लब्ध्वा संस्थानमात्मानं बहु मन्यसे । सर्वभूतभवं देवं ब्रह्माणमिव शाश्वतम्
idaṁ tu labdhvā saṁsthānam ātmānaṁ bahu manyase | sarvabhūtabhavaṁ devaṁ brahmāṇam iva śāśvatam ||
ភីෂ្មៈបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ «បានទទួលឋានៈនេះ និងសភាពជារូបកាយនេះហើយ អ្នកគិតខ្លួនឯងខ្ពស់លើសគេ ដូចជាអ្នកជាព្រះព្រហ្មា—ទេវតាសនាតន អ្នកបង្កើតសត្វលោកទាំងអស់។ តែអធិបតេយ្យភាពនេះរបស់អ្នក មិនដែលបង្ហាញថាមាំមួន ឬស្ថិតស្ថេរជានិរន្តរហូតកាលទេ៖ មនុស្សជាច្រើនបានកាន់វា ហើយបានចាកចេញ។ តែដោយបញ្ញាខុសភ្លេចរបស់អ្នកប៉ុណ្ណោះ អ្នកស្រមៃថាវាជារបស់អ្នកពិតប្រាកដ»។
