On Gratitude and Friendship Ethics
दानवेन्द्रास्त्वतिक्रम्य तत् पितामहशासनम् । धर्मस्यापचयं चक्कुः: क्रोधलो भसमन्विता:,परंतु दानवेश्वरोंने क्रोध और लोभसे युक्त हो ब्रह्माजीकी उस आज्ञाका उल्लंघन करके धर्मको हानि पहुँचाना आरम्भ किया
dānavendrās tv atikramya tat pitāmahaśāsanam | dharmasyāpacayaṃ cakruḥ krodhalobhasamanvitāḥ ||
ភីષ្មៈបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ «ប៉ុន្តែ ព្រះអម្ចាស់នៃពួកដានវៈ ដោយត្រូវកំហឹង និងលោភលន់គ្រប់គ្រង បានល្មើសព្រះបញ្ជារបស់ ពិតាមហៈ (ព្រហ្មា) នោះ ហើយចាប់ផ្តើមបង្កឲ្យធម៌ធ្លាក់ចុះ»។
