Vaiśampāyana uvāca: kathāntaram athāsādya khaḍga-yuddha-viśāradaḥ | Nakulaḥ śara-talpa-stham idam āha pitāmaham ||
វៃសម្បាយនៈបាននិយាយ៖ ឱ ជនមេជ័យ! នៅពេលរឿងមុនបានបញ្ចប់ ហើយមានឱកាសមួយកើតឡើង នកុល—អ្នកជំនាញខាងប្រយុទ្ធដោយដាវ—បានចូលទៅកាន់ពិតាមហា ភីષ្មៈ ដែលដេកលើគ្រែព្រួញ ហើយសួរព្រះអង្គដូចតទៅ។
