Tapas, Tīrtha, and Moral Rehabilitation (Śānti-parva 148)
तस्माद् धर्म चरिष्यामि धर्मो हि परमा गति: । दृष्टो धर्मो हि धर्मिछे यादृशो विहगोत्तमे
tasmād dharma cariṣyāmi dharmo hi paramā gatiḥ | dṛṣṭo dharmo hi dharmiṣṭhe yādṛśo vihagottame ||
ដូច្នេះ ខ្ញុំនឹងប្រតិបត្តិធម៌; ព្រោះធម៌តែប៉ុណ្ណោះជាទីពឹងខ្ពស់បំផុត និងជាគោលដៅចុងក្រោយ។ ធម៌ដ៏បរិសុទ្ធដែលបានឃើញនៅក្នុងបក្សីដ៏ប្រសើរ និងមានធម៌ខ្ពស់នោះ—ធម៌បែបនោះហើយដែលខ្ញុំក៏ប្រាថ្នានឹងដើរតាម ដោយបានឃើញមុខខ្ញុំផ្ទាល់នូវគំរូភ្លឺរលោងនៃការគោរពភ្ញៀវ ដែលបានរក្សាទុកសូម្បីតែដោយបោះបង់រាងកាយរបស់ខ្លួន។
