कपोती-विलापः स्वर्गसंयोगश्च

नैव निम्नं स्थलं वापि सो$5विन्दत विहड़हा । पूरितो हि जलौघेन तस्य मार्गो वनस्य च,वनका मार्ग जिसपर वह चलता था, जलके प्रवाहमें डूब गया था। उस बहेलियेको नीची-ऊँची भूमिका कुछ पता नहीं चलता था
naiva nimnaṃ sthalaṃ vāpi so 'vindata vihaṅgamaḥ | pūrito hi jalaughena tasya mārgo vanasya ca ||
ភីṣ្មៈ បានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ អ្នកចាប់បក្សីមិនអាចសម្គាល់បានទេថា ត្រង់ណាទាប ឬត្រង់ណាខ្ពស់។ ព្រោះទឹកជំនន់បានលិចផ្លូវដែលគាត់កំពុងដើរ ហើយសូម្បីតែផ្លូវក្នុងព្រៃក៏ត្រូវទឹកគ្របដណ្ដប់ ដល់ថ្នាក់គាត់មិនដឹងទិសផ្លូវទៀតឡើយ។
