Protection of the Refuge-Seeker: Opening of the Kapota Narrative

“शत्रु ककणाजनक वचन बोल रहा हो तो भी उसे मारे बिना न छोड़े। जिसने पहले अपना अपकार किया हो, उसको अवश्य मार डाले और उसमें दु:ख न माने ।।

bhīṣma uvāca | saṅgrahānugrahe yatnaḥ sadā kāryo 'n-asūyatā | nigrahaś cāpi yatnena kartavyo bhūtim icchatā ||

ភីṣ្មៈបានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ ទោះសត្រូវនិយាយពាក្យផ្អែមល្ហែម ឬពាក្យបង្កើតសន្តិភាពក៏ដោយ កុំលែងគាត់ដោយមិនប្រហារឡើយ។ អ្នកណាដែលធ្លាប់ធ្វើអំពើអាក្រក់ដល់ខ្លួនមុនមក ត្រូវសម្លាប់ចោល ហើយកុំចាត់ទុកថាជាទុក្ខសោក។ ព្រះមហាក្សត្រដែលប្រាថ្នាអភិវឌ្ឍន៍ និងអំណាច គួរបោះបង់ការរកកំហុស និងការច嫉; ត្រូវខិតខំជានិច្ចក្នុងការរក្សាមនុស្សឲ្យនៅខាងខ្លួន ដោយការគាំទ្រ និងការអនុគ្រោះ ហើយត្រូវខិតខំដូចគ្នា ក្នុងការទប់ស្កាត់ និងបង្ក្រាបសត្រូវ។
