शत्रुभि॑हुभिग्रस्तो यथा वर्तेत पार्थिव: । एतदिच्छाम्यहं श्रोतुं सर्वमेव यथाविधि,बहुत-से शत्रुओंका आक्रमण हो जानेपर राजाको कैसा बर्ताव करना चाहिये? यह सब कुछ मैं विधिपूर्वक सुनना चाहता हूँ
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca |
śatrubhir bahubhir grasto yathā varteta pārthivaḥ |
etad icchāmy ahaṃ śrotuṃ sarvam eva yathāvidhi ||
យុធិષ્ઠិរ បានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «នៅពេលស្តេចមួយអង្គត្រូវបានសត្រូវជាច្រើនវាយប្រហារ រហូតត្រូវសង្កត់សង្កិនយ៉ាងខ្លាំង ព្រះអង្គគួរប្រព្រឹត្តខ្លួនដូចម្តេច? ខ្ញុំប្រាថ្នាចង់ស្តាប់ទាំងអស់នេះឲ្យពេញលេញ តាមរបៀបត្រឹមត្រូវ និងតាមធម៌»។
