आपद्विनाशभूयिष्ठ गर्त: कार्य हि जीवितम्
āpadvināśabhūyiṣṭha gartaḥ kārya hi jīvitam
ភីෂ្មៈបានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «នៅពេលមានគ្រោះមហន្តរាយ ជីវិតខ្លួនឯងក្លាយជារណ្តៅជ្រៅ—ពោរពេញដោយការគំរាមកំហែងនៃការបាត់បង់។ ដូច្នេះ មនុស្សត្រូវធ្វើការដោយមានគោលបំណងចម្បងគឺការរក្សាជីវិត»។
