Apaddharma Determination: Dialogue of Viśvāmitra and the Śvapaca
कृत्वा हि पूर्व मित्राणि यः पश्चान्नानुतिष्ठति । न स मित्राणि लभते कृच्छास्वापत्सु दुर्मति:
kṛtvā hi pūrva mitrāṇi yaḥ paścān nānutiṣṭhati | na sa mitrāṇi labhate kṛcchrāsv āpatsu durmatiḥ ||
ភីष្មបានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «មនុស្សមានបញ្ញាខ្សោយ ដែលដំបូងបង្កើតមិត្តជាច្រើន ប៉ុន្តែក្រោយមកមិនឈរជាប់ក្នុងមិត្តភាពទេ នឹងមិនបានឃើញមិត្តទាំងនោះឡើយ នៅពេលវិបត្តិដ៏លំបាកមកដល់; ក្នុងគ្រាលំបាក អ្នកល្ងង់មិនទទួលបានជំនួយពីចំណងដែលខ្លួនបានមើលរំលង។»
