यथा क्रमेण पुष्पेभ्यक्षिनोति मधु षघट्पद: । तथा द्रव्यमुपादाय राजा कुर्वीत संचयम्
yathā krameṇa puṣpebhyaḥ kṣinoti madhu ṣaṭpadaḥ | tathā dravyam upādāya rājā kurvīta sañcayam ||
ភីષ្មៈបានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ដូចសត្វឃ្មុំប្រមូលទឹកឃ្មុំបន្តិចម្តងៗពីផ្កាជាច្រើនតាមលំដាប់ ដើម្បីក្លាយជាទឹកឃ្មុំ សូមព្រះមហាក្សត្រយកទ្រព្យពីប្រជាជនទាំងអស់តែបន្តិចបន្តួច ហើយសន្សំទុកជាគោលនយោបាយក្នុងព្រះរាជកោស»។
