Adhyāya 118: Saciva-parīkṣā
Testing and Appointment of Ministers/Servants
थ्वा त्वं द्वीपित्वमापन्नो द्वीपीव्याप्रत्वमागत:
tvaṃ tvam dvīpitvam āpanno dvīpīvyāpratvam āgataḥ
ភីṣ្មៈបានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «អ្នកបានឆ្លងចូលទៅក្នុងសភាពជាសត្វខ្លាឃ្មុំតូច (leopard) ហើយពីសត្វនោះក៏បានឈានទៅមុខ—ដូច្នេះបានផ្លាស់ប្តូរជីវកំណើតសត្វជាបន្តបន្ទាប់។ ដំបូងអ្នកជាឆ្កែ បន្ទាប់មកជាខ្លាឃ្មុំតូច បន្ទាប់ចូលទៅក្នុងយោនីខ្លា; ពីខ្លាក្លាយជាដំរីមេឃ្លាតដោយមទ; ពីដំរីចូលទៅក្នុងយោនីសីហៈ; ហើយនៅពេលជាសីហៈដ៏ខ្លាំងក្លា អ្នកបានទទួលរាងកាយសរភៈម្តងទៀត»។
