शकुनि (हिरण्मय-पक्षी) उपदेशः — Vighasāśin and the Difficulty of Gārhasthya
तानाबभाषे भगवान् पक्षी भूत्वा हिरण्मय: । सुदुष्करं मनुष्यैश्व यत् कृतं विघसाशिभि:
tān ābabhāṣe bhagavān pakṣī bhūtvā hiraṇmayaḥ | suduṣkaraṃ manuṣyaiś ca yat kṛtaṃ vighasāśibhiḥ ||
ព្រះអម្ចាស់បានបំលែងជាបក្សីមាសភ្លឺរលោង ហើយមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅកាន់ពួកគេថា៖ «អ្វីដែលបុរសអភិជនទាំងឡាយ—អ្នករស់ដោយបរិភោគអាហារដែលនៅសល់ពីយញ្ញ—បានសម្រេច នោះមនុស្សធម្មតាធ្វើតាមបានយ៉ាងលំបាកណាស់។ ការប្រព្រឹត្តរបស់ពួកគេបរិសុទ្ធ និងជីវិតរបស់ពួកគេល្អឥតខ្ចោះ; ដោយស្មោះត្រង់ចំពោះធម៌ ពួកគេបានបំពេញបំណង ហើយឈានដល់គោលដៅខ្ពស់បំផុត»។
