Gaṇānāṃ Vṛttiḥ — On the Sustenance and Cohesion of Assemblies
Gaṇa-nīti
क्षीणग्रहणवृत्तिश्न यथाधर्म प्रकीर्तितम् लघुना देशरूपेण ग्रन्थयोगेन भारत
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | kṣīṇa-grahaṇa-vṛttiś ca yathā-dharmaṁ prakīrtitam | laghunā deśa-rūpeṇa grantha-yogena bhārata ||
យុធិષ્ઠិរ បានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ឱ ភារត! អ្នកបានសង្ខេបបង្ហាញតាមធម៌ អំពីមធ្យោបាយរកជីវិត និងអាចារដែលគួរទទួលយក ដោយបង្ហាញវាក្នុងទម្រង់ខ្លី សមស្របតាមលក្ខណៈតំបន់ និងរៀបរយដូចជាគម្ពីរប្រព័ន្ធ។ ដោយហេតុនេះ អ្នកបានពន្យល់កាតព្វកិច្ច និងអនុវត្តធម៌នៃសង្គមបួនវណ្ណៈ ប្រភពទ្រព្យ និងអាហារប្រចាំជីវិត ផលនៃការប្រព្រឹត្តត្រឹមត្រូវ និងគោលការណ៍អនុវត្តដែលព្រះមហាក្សត្រគួរប្រើ ដើម្បីរក្សាកោសរដ្ឋ ប្រមូលសន្សំ ឈ្នះសត្រូវ ជ្រើសរើស និងសាកល្បងអាមាត្យ លើកស្ទួយសុខុមាលភាពប្រជាជន ប្រើនយោបាយប្រាំមួយ (សន្តិ និងសង្គ្រាម) គ្រប់គ្រងទ័ព ស្គាល់មនុស្សអាក្រក់ ស្គាល់សត្បុរស និងរក្សាសមធម៌រវាងអ្នកស្មើ អ្នកទាប និងអ្នកខ្ពស់—ព្រមទាំងកាតព្វកិច្ចគាំទ្រអ្នកទន់ខ្សោយ ដោយរៀបចំជីវភាពឲ្យពួកគេ»។
