Ānṛśaṃsya, Amātya-Guṇa, and Reconciliatory Counsel (आनृशंस्य–अमात्यगुण–संधि-उपदेशः)

आनृशंस्येन धर्मेण लोके हास्मिन्‌ जिजीविषु: । नाहमेतदल कर्तु नैतत्‌ त्वय्युपपद्यते

bhīṣma uvāca |

ānṛśaṁsyena dharmeṇa loke hāsmin jijīviṣuḥ |

na aham etad alaṁ kartuṁ na etat tvayy upapadyate ||

ភីष្មៈបានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ខ្ញុំប្រាថ្នារស់នៅក្នុងលោកនេះ ដោយពឹងផ្អែកលើធម៌នៃមេត្តាករុណា និងការមិនសាហាវ។ ខ្ញុំមិនអាចប្រព្រឹត្តអំពើអធម៌បែបនោះបានឡើយ។ ហើយការផ្តល់អនុសាសន៍ប្រភេទនោះ ក៏មិនសមនឹងព្រះអង្គដែរ»។
