Baka Dālbhya at Avakīrṇa-tīrtha: Rāṣṭra-kṣaya and Release through Prasāda (Śalya-parva, Adhyāya 40)
एवमुकक््त्वा महातेजा जगाम त्रिदिवं मुनि: | एवं सिद्धः स भगवानार्शिषेण: प्रतापवान्
evam uktvā mahātejā jagāma tridivaṃ muniḥ | evaṃ siddhaḥ sa bhagavān ārṣiṣeṇaḥ pratāpavān ||
វៃសម្បាយនៈបាននិយាយថា៖ ពោលពាក្យដូច្នេះហើយ មុនីដ៏មានតេជៈដ៏អស្ចារ្យនោះ បានចេញទៅកាន់ត្រីទិវៈ (លោកសួគ៌)។ ដោយរបៀបនេះ ឥសីអារិសិษេណៈដ៏គួរគោរព និងមានអានុភាព បានសម្រេចសិទ្ធិធម៌នៅទីរតីថ៌ដ៏បរិសុទ្ធនោះ—បង្ហាញថា សច្ចវាចា និងភាពបរិសុទ្ធ នាំទៅកាន់ផលសម្រេចពិតប្រាកដ។
वैशग्पायन उवाच
The verse underscores that sanctity and right conduct culminate in siddhi: a revered sage, after delivering his message, departs to heaven, implying that truthful speech, tapas, and the power of a tīrtha together lead to spiritual fulfillment.
After speaking (in the preceding context), the radiant sage leaves for the heavenly realm. The narrator notes that the venerable Ṛṣi Ārṣiṣeṇa has thereby attained accomplishment at that sacred place.
