Sauptika Parva, Adhyaya 8 — Dhṛṣṭadyumna-vadha and the Camp’s Nocturnal Rout
धृष्टद्युम्नस्य निलयं शनकैरभ्युपागमत् । वह महाबाहु वीर शिविरके प्रत्येक स्थानसे परिचित था, अतः धीरे-धीरे धृष्टद्युम्नके खेमेमें जा पहुँचा ।। ते तु कृत्वा महत् कर्म श्रान्ताश्ष बलवद् रणे
sañjaya uvāca |
dhṛṣṭadyumnasya nilayaṃ śanakair abhyupāgamat |
សញ្ជ័យបាននិយាយ៖ គាត់បានចូលទៅជិតទីលំនៅ (តង់) របស់ ធ្រឹṣṭadyumna ដោយយឺតៗ និងស្ងៀមស្ងាត់ ជំហានមួយៗ។ ព្រោះស្គាល់ផែនទីជំរំ និងទីតាំងនីមួយៗយ៉ាងច្បាស់ អ្នកយុទ្ធមហាបាហុបានដើរយឺតៗរហូតដល់ដល់ព្រះពាវីឡ្យុងរបស់ ធ្រឹṣṭadyumna—អំពើដែលបង្ហាញភាពងងឹតផ្លូវធម៌នៃការវាយប្រហារពេលយប់ ដែលយកការស្គាល់ទីកន្លែង និងការលាក់លៀមទៅវាយសត្រូវកំពុងសម្រាក មិនមែនប្រឈមមុខក្នុងសមរភូមិដោយត្រង់ទេ។
