अध्याय १ — न्यग्रोधवनोपवेशनम् तथा द्रौणिनिश्चयः
Night at the Banyan and Drauṇi’s Resolve
अवध्य: सर्वभूतानां वज़संहननो युवा । पाण्डवै: समरे पुत्रो निहतो मम संजय
avadhyaḥ sarvabhūtānāṁ vajrasaṁhanano yuvā | pāṇḍavaiḥ samare putro nihato mama sañjaya ||
ធೃತរાષ્ટ્રបានមានព្រះបន្ទូល៖ “សញ្ជ័យ! កូនប្រុសរបស់ខ្ញុំជាវ័យក្មេង។ រាងកាយរឹងដូចវជ្រៈ ហេតុនេះហើយគេគិតថាគ្មានសត្វណាអាចសម្លាប់បាន។ ទោះយ៉ាងណា នៅលើសមរភូមិ ពណ្ឌវទាំងឡាយបានសម្លាប់គាត់ចោល។”
