धृतराष्ट्र रवाच अशोच्यत्वं कुतस्तेषां येषां वैरं भविष्यति । पाण्डवैर्युद्धशौण्डैर्हि बलवद्धिर्महारथै:
dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca: aśocyatvaṃ kutaḥ teṣāṃ yeṣāṃ vairaṃ bhaviṣyati | pāṇḍavair yuddhaśauṇḍair hi balavaddhir mahārathaiḥ ||
ធೃತរાષ્ટ્ર បានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «តើមនុស្សទាំងនោះ—ដែលត្រូវកំណត់ឲ្យមានសត្រូវភាពជាមួយបណ្ឌវៈ អ្នកជាមហារថីដ៏ខ្លាំងក្លា និងស្ទាត់ជំនាញសង្គ្រាម—អាចមិនសោកសៅបានដូចម្តេច? ការប្រឆាំងនឹងអ្នកចម្បាំងដូច្នោះ មិនអាចមិននាំទៅកាន់ទុក្ខសោកឡើយ»។
