आसादितमिदं घोरं तुमुलं लोमहर्षणम् । पाञज्चालीमपकर्षद्धि: सभामध्ये तपस्विनीम्
sañjaya uvāca | āsāditam idaṃ ghoraṃ tumulaṃ lomaharṣaṇam | pāñcālīm apakarṣad dhiḥ sabhāmadhye tapasvinīm ||
សញ្ជ័យបាននិយាយ៖ «ឥឡូវនេះ វិបត្តិដ៏សាហាវមួយបានកើតឡើងលើពួកយើង—ចលាចល និងធ្វើឲ្យរោមឈរឡើង—ពេលដែលព្រះនាងដ្រោបទី ព្រះកញ្ញានៃបញ្ចាលា ដែលមានចិត្តដូចអ្នកបួស ត្រូវគេអូសចូលមកកណ្ដាលសភារាជ។ អំពើអាស្រូវនេះនៅក្នុងរាជសភាផ្ទាល់ បង្កើតលក្ខខណ្ឌសម្រាប់សង្គ្រាមដ៏គួរភ័យខ្លាច៖ វាជាការរំលោភធម៌ ដែលបម្លែងការប្រកួតអំណាចឲ្យក្លាយជាវិបត្តិសីលធម៌ ហើយធ្វើឲ្យសង្គ្រាមហាក់ដូចជាមិនអាចជៀសវាងបាន»។
