Adhyāya 59: Vidura’s Admonition to Duryodhana after the Summons of Draupadī (सभा पर्व)

युधिछिर उवाच निकृतिर्देवनं पापं न क्षात्रो5त्र पराक्रम: । न च नीतिर्धुवा राजन कि त्वं द्यूत॑ प्रशंभसि

yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | nikṛtir dyūtanaṃ pāpaṃ na kṣātro ’tra parākramaḥ | na ca nītir dhruvā rājan kiṃ tvaṃ dyūtaṃ praśaṃsasi ||

យុធិស្ឋិរ បានមានព្រះវាចា៖ «ឱ ព្រះមហាក្សត្រ! ការលេងភ្នាល់គឺជាល្បិចបោកបញ្ឆោតមួយ និងជាមូលហេតុនៃបាប។ ក្នុងនោះ មិនអាចបង្ហាញវីរភាពសមនឹងក្សត្រយុទ្ធបានទេ ហើយក៏គ្មាននីតិធម៌ណាដែលប្រាកដថេរផង។ ដូច្នេះ ហេតុអ្វីបានជាអ្នកសរសើរល្បែងគ្រាប់ព្រ័ត្រនេះ?»
