Adhyāya 52 (Sabhā-parva): Vidura Invites Yudhiṣṭhira to Hastināpura for the Dice Match
कर्णप्रावरणाश्रैव बहवस्तत्र भारत । तत्रस्था द्वारपालैस्ते प्रोच्यन्ते राजशासनात् | कृतकाला: सुबलयस्ततो द्वारमवाप्स्यथ
karṇaprāvaraṇāś caiva bahavas tatra bhārata | tatrāsthā dvārapālaiś te procyante rājaśāsanāt | kṛtakālāḥ subalayas tato dvāram avāpsyatha bhārata ||
ទុរយោធនៈបានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ឱ ភារតៈ មានស្តេចជាច្រើន—ក្នុងនោះមានពួក កರ್ಣប្រាវរណៈ និងអ្នកដទៃទៀត—ឈរនៅទីនោះមាត់ទ្វារ។ តាមព្រះបញ្ជារបស់ស្តេច អ្នកយាមទ្វារបាននិយាយទៅកាន់ពួកគេថា៖ ‘ចូរកំណត់ពេលវេលាដែលបានកំណត់របស់អ្នក ហើយរៀបចំអំណោយឲ្យរួចរាល់; បន្ទាប់មកអ្នកនឹងទទួលបានការចូលតាមទ្វារ’»។
