Nārada’s Examination of Royal Ethics

कच्चित्‌ पुरुषकारेण पुरुष: कर्म शोभयन्‌ । लभते मानमधिकं भूयो वा भक्तवेतनम्‌

kaccit puruṣakāreṇa puruṣaḥ karma śobhayann | labhate mānam adhikaṃ bhūyo vā bhaktavetanaṃ ||

នារ​ទៈ បានមានពាក្យថា៖ «នៅទីនេះ បុរសណាម្នាក់ ប្រើកម្លាំងខ្លួន និងការខិតខំផ្ទាល់ ដើម្បីបំពេញភារកិច្ចមួយឲ្យល្អឥតខ្ចោះ—តើគាត់ទទួលបានកិត្តិយសកាន់តែខ្ពស់ពីព្រះអង្គ ឬក៏ទទួលបានប្រាក់ឧបត្ថម្ភ និងប្រាក់ឈ្នួលកាន់តែច្រើនឬ?»
