स हंस: सम्प्रमत्तानामप्रमत्त: स्वकर्मणि । ततः प्रक्षीयमाणेषु तेषु तेष्वण्डजो5पर: । अशड्कत महाप्राज्ञ: स कदाचिद् ददर्श ह
sa haṁsaḥ sampramattānām apramattaḥ svakarmaṇi | tataḥ prakṣīyamāṇeṣu teṣu teṣv aṇḍajo 'paraḥ | aśaṅkata mahāprājñaḥ sa kadācid dadarśa ha ||
ហង្សនោះឃើញអ្នកដទៃធ្វេសប្រហែស ក៏នៅតែប្រុងប្រយ័ត្នជានិច្ចចំពោះគោលបំណងរបស់ខ្លួន។ បន្ទាប់មក ពេលស៊ុតរបស់ពួកវាចាប់ផ្តើមបាត់បង់ជាបន្តបន្ទាប់ បក្សីមួយទៀតដែលមានប្រាជ្ញាខ្លាំងបានកើតសង្ស័យលើហង្សនោះ ហើយមួយថ្ងៃបានឃើញអំពើអាក្រក់របស់វាដោយភ្នែកខ្លួនឯង។
