अहं सखा महेन्द्रस्य शक्रादनवरो रणे । न शक्ष्यामि च ते तात स्थातुं प्रमुखतो युधि
ahaṃ sakhā mahendrasya śakrād anavaro raṇe | na śakṣyāmi ca te tāta sthātuṃ pramukhato yudhi ||
វៃសម្បាយនៈបាននិយាយថា៖ «ខ្ញុំជាមិត្តរបស់មហេន្ទ្រា (ឥន្ទ្រា) ហើយក្នុងសង្គ្រាម ខ្ញុំមិនទាបជាងសក្រនោះទេ។ ទោះយ៉ាងណា កូនអើយ ខ្ញុំមិនអាចឈរប្រឈមមុខអ្នកនៅជួរមុខនៃយុទ្ធបានឡើយ»។
